This collection celebrates the beauty of upper Westchester. Having called Yorktown, NY home for more than 30 years, I am still inspired by the shifting seasons, the waterways and the wildlife. Yet some things endure: the landmark buildings, the cheerful walkers on our trails, the farms and the recurring rhythms of life. My oil paintings are an attempt to capture that beauty. The site is an art show organized to benefit our historic community church, built in 1848, with 100% of sales proceeds going toward its much-needed upkeep. These pictures, a reminder of the beauty around us, are my love letter to the community.
